Maybe it's because I grew up on a farm in the middle of nowhere, but I've long had a fascination with farming games and the idea of physically simulating a soil matrix. As a first step towards that goal, I wrote a custom water transport solver for water droplets falling on a height field (surface flow, soil absorption & evaporation). It was built in Unity, using C#, DOTS and Shader Graph.
